The X-Wing was a luxury sports-touring concept that Honda showed at the 1999 Tokyo Motor Show. It was aimed at comfortable long-distance riding for two. It was built around a new V6 with variable valve timing for smoothness and economy, and was loaded with technology for its time, including an adjustable fairing, combined brakes with ABS, traction control, navigation, an internet-capable display and a rider-to-passenger intercom. It remained a show bike.
